In medicine, GRAETZ radiation meters are used in particular in the application of imaging procedures for diagnostic, therapeutic and scientific purposes, such as X-ray machines, computer tomographs (CT), scintigraphs, gamma cameras or in radiation therapy, such as teletherapy, linear accelerators (LINAC), afterloading devices (brachytherapy). GRAETZ radiation measurement technology is used to measure the radiation exposure on site and personnel can also be warned in case of exceedances.
